Deepika Padukone raised many a brow with her unabashedly frank comment about gifting Ranbir Kapoor, her ex boyfriend, a pack of condoms. Ranbir now says he happily endorses her view. The comment was made on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan and that is why it made such news. Though Deepika later clarified that the comment was tongue in cheek, Ranbir says he didn’t mind it one bit. At the Teacher’s Achievement Awards held in Mumbai, Ranbir was asked to react to Deepika’s comment. “I think she said a good thing. Our country should be aware of safe sex and condom is a means to that. And thank you for that,” Ranbir said. He did not stop at that and went ahead to wish Deepika good luck for her upcoming film. “Best of luck for Break Ke Baad. It seems really nice...you and Imran are a great couple. Looking forward to see the film,” Ranbir added.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has spoken to a leading publishing house which enthusiastically agreed to the idea.
