George Kithu, who was earlier an associate of Bharathan and who, as an independent director has given us the well-made Savidham, Adharam, Samagamam, Innalekalillathe etc, is on to his new film Swapnangalil Hazel Mary, which has started rolling. The film is being shot in and around Kannur. The director, who had last given us the totally insufferable Suryakireedom, now attempts a heroine-oriented, low-budget film scripted by John Paul. Swapnangalil Hazel Mary tells the story of a young girl named Mary whose life goes through very strange twists and turns. It's Bhama who plays the central character. The cast also includes Vineeth Kumar, Manikuttan, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Mukesh, Rashmi Verma, Valsala Menon, Kannur Sreelatha etc. Produced by Muhammed Hassan under the banner of Mangalassery Films, Swapnangalil Haizel Mary features lyrics by Gireesh Puthencherry and Hasilal, music by Jerson Antony, art-direction by Nathan Mannoor and cinematography by M.D. Sukumaran.
