Akshay will be driving an Impala, and the two of them will be interacting with their fans and educating them on the art of wooing a girl while on a drive. Akshay has been seen in a retro avatar over the last month to promote his upcoming flick Action Replayy and this drive is the latest marketing strategy for the film. The idea for the drive was conceived jointly by Akshay, Aishwarya and producer Vipul Shah as they felt that this would appeal to the audiences the most. While speaking to the media, Vipul said “We felt that the charm of retro can’t be conveyed convincingly in mere words or visuals. It would make a bigger impact if we show it to the people. Vipul has his eyes set on a bright red convertible Dodge Impala for the promotional event as it will add to the impact, “In our film, I also used an open convertible Dodge Impala in bright red.
