I'm quite happy doing the roles I've been offered," said Emraan

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, known for his on-screen kisses, says he enjoys essaying grey characters even as he is trying to be a good father in real life. In his new release, "Crook", he will be seen playing a dark role. "I have always played characters with grey shades and I like it. I like a certain realism to the characters I’m playing. In reality too, I always suspect people who claim they have done only good things in their lives," Emraan, 31, "I don’t believe people who say they haven’t experienced jealousy, greed, because I feel all these emotions are felt by everyone. We all go through a phase where we feel guilty about doing something. I have made mistakes." Any plans of doing a goody-two-shoes role? "I might do something very positive in future, but as of now I’m quite happy doing the roles I’ve been offered," said Emraan who was seen as a baddie in films like "Murder", "Gangster - A Love S...

Emraan Hashmi next project is ‘Crook Its Good To Be Bad’

Emraan Hashmi’s next venture to hit the screens is ‘Crook Its Good To Be Bad’ where Hashmi plays the guy who has to decide if it is good to be bad or good to be good. Releasing on 8th October, the movie started off with a touching moment which took place with director Mohit Suri in Australia. When Mohit happened to find himself outside a 24-hour convenience store in the Sunshine district of Melbourne (the same spot where the most brutal racist attacks had taken place in Australia), he realized how the seeds of racism were sown deep in every part of the world. “I was horrified to know how an Indian was brutally beaten up only because of his colour and religion. Outraged and humiliated, I felt the need to voice this as a filmmaker. However, as I left the store my eyes fell upon an ad on the store window which read: ‘Accommodation available for Indian students for Gujarati boys only,” he notes. This ad was the starting point of Crook It’s Good To Be Bad. “It made me reali...

Emraan and Bipasha Pairs together

Now, this pair-up could raise a couple of brows. The cute Emraan Hashmi who looks younger than his age (unless he’s playing broody roles) is set to team up with Bipasha Basu in the sequel of the hit movie Murder. We hear that the Bhatts (producers) are planning to come up with the second version of the 2004 thriller that had Mallika Sherawat playing an adulterous opposite two men, Emraan and Ashmit Patel. Mallika, however, has been dropped from the sequel and Bipasha is reportedly being roped in. If true, this would mark Bipasha’s return to the Bhatt camp after a gap of many years. She worked in the banner’s films Raaz and Jism at the start of her career. Emraan Hashmi, on the other hand, has been a regular in the Bhatt camp. Moreover, director Anurag Basu has also been snipped from the sequel. The buzz is that Mohit Suri, who has already made the sequel of Raaz (as Raaz - The Mystery Continues) will direct the Murder sequel as well.
