Anjali is an Indian film actress and model. Predominantly appearing Tamil films, she is best known for her critically acclaimed performances as Anandhi and Kani in the films Kattradhu Thamizh and Angaadi Theru respectively. Career Anjali was born in Mogalikudhuru in Andhra Pradesh , India and has two brothers . She started her acting career in 2006 with the Telugu-language thriller film Photo, following which she appeared in another Telugu film Premalekha Raasa (2007), both failing to do well at the box office . Later in 2007 she debuted in Tamil with the critically acclaimed film Kattradhu Thamizh, directed by Ram, who gave her the opportunity to star in the film, when she was vainly waiting for an offer in the Telugu film industry.
