Born on 19 July 1979 the actress is better known by her stage name Shweta Konnur.

CAREER
Malavika modelled for Fair & Lovely and then stepped in to Telugu and Tamil cinema. At the age of 19 she made her debut with superhit film Unnai Thedi. Her performance opposite actor Ajith was highly acknowledged. Then she appeared alongside Ajith, Karthik and Meena in another blockbuster named Anandha Poongatre. And also showed her acting talent in Rojavanam.

Pooporika Varukirom was one of her flop film after all these hits. She again came into the limelight with her acting in films like Chandramukhi, Chithiram Pesuthadi, and Thiruttu Payale. Malavika also participated in stage shows like Netru, Indru, Naalai by Mani Ratnam.
