Simbu or Karthi in Dabangg remake?

Dabangg is setting new records not only in Bollywood, but also in Tamil and Telugu. With Dabangg opening to an overwhelming response, the enthusiasm to acquire the Tamil and Telugu remake rights has increased overnight. The latest buzz is that Kollywood producers Mohan Apparao and T. Ramesh have purchased the remake rights of Dabangg for a whopping amount, the highest ever paid for a remake. Sources say that they are in talks with Karthi and Simbu to play the role of Chulbul Pandey. But the grapevine has it that Simbu is likely to star in this comedy-action musical entertainer.
