She was born Isha Koppikar in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on September 19, 1976.
Eesha got into modeling which led to her competing in the 1995 Femina Miss India pageant where she came in fourth.
This led to even more modeling work and to her acting debut in the 1998 Tamil film, Kaadhal Kavidai.
For her role as Jothi, she won the Filmfare Best Female Debut (Tamil).
Eesha went on to appear in over forty Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films

In 2009, this five foot seven beauty hosted the Colors pro wrestling show, 100% De Dhana Dhan.
