Katrina wants to act in Tamil movies

Katrina Kaif will be seen in a song sequence in ’Engeyum Kaadhal’, directed by Prabhu Deva.
The actress gave her consent to appear in the movie because of her close friendship with the director.

Katrina Kaif had earlier acted in Telugu films and a Malayalam film (Mammootty’s Balram Vs Tharadas’). But she had never acted in a full length Tamil film. Though she wants to act in more south Indian films, her busy schedule in Bollywood makes it difficult to sign up other language films.


The film stars Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani in the lead. The movie, produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram, features music by Harris Jayaraj. ’Engeyum Kaadhal’ was extensively shot in Europe. Nirav Shah is the cameraman.
