After a great review and good response to Race, director duo Abbas-Mustan and producer Ramesh Taurani (Tips) are set to return with its sequel. The casting of Race 2 has been a much talked about in the industry. Buzz was that Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham were a part of the project while the leading ladies were yet to be decided.
But the latest gossip is that Priyanka Chopra has been signed for one of the leading roles.
Confirming this, producer Ramesh Taurani says,
“Yes Priyanka Chopra has been finalized for Race 2 while we are still on the look out for 2 more heroines.” On being asked, whom the actress was paired opposite, Taurani said, “That you will have to wait and watch as Race 2 is also full of twists and turns.”
The director also confirmed that Saif is a part of the project denying all rumours that he had quit. He along with Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, and now Priyanka Chopra are the actors who are confirmed on board.
Priyanka joining the cast, Race 2 is surely gonna get hotter and hotter. We can’t wait!
