Asin is back to Bollywood

The actress, whose ’Kaavalan’ is getting ready to hit theatres in a few weeks, has been signed up for two Bollywood films, it is reported. Though Asin confirmed the news, she refused to divulge details about the new projects.

The actress, who stromed Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s ’Ghajini’, has recently completed her portions for the Hindi remake of Telugu hit ’Ready’. Her costar in the lead is Salman Khan. She said her new films would kick off in early 2011. She will play one of the female leads in Anurag Basu’s ’Silence’, alongside Priyanka Chopra. Ranbir Kapoor plays the male lead in this film.

Recently, Asin was chosen as the brand ambassador of Lux by Hindusthan Unilever. This honour is usually reserved for the top actresses in India. Her pan Indian appeal must have clinched the deal for her, feels Asin.
