This move of Sophie had made her the first Indian celebrity that had launched an official celebrity YouTube channel in association with YouTube.

Sophie confirms the news saying, “Yes I’ve started my own channel on YouTube as it is becoming an increasingly popular way of reaching out to the fan base."

She added "I’m told I am the first female artist from India to have a channel on YouTube. The channel will showcase my videos, making of the videos and songs which will be accessible worldwide.”
