Koena Mitra, born 7 January 1985 in Kolkata, India, is an actress in the Bollywood film inustry, she was also a very successful and experienced model. Her name "Koena" is a name of a river in India.

She initially gained prominence through winning Gladrags magazine's Mega Model Contest in 2002,Koena’s first break in Bollywood was an item number in Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Road’; the song “Khullam Khulla” became a big craze. She also appeared in a Tamil film Dhool with actor vikram in the title song.

Koena played the lead lady in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena.
