Vidya Malvade Biography

Not everyone in the film industry is blessed with a godfather or connections with big names. Vidya Malvade is one of those few who establish themselves on their own. She is a name associated with brands like “Hyundai Santro” and believes in working hard to get to the top.

Having studied Law, Vidya worked as an air hostess. She stepped into the glamour world after the sudden demise of her pilot husband. With a perfect body and winning looks, she entered the modeling arena. She also signed a couple of films like “Intehaa”, “Mashooka” and “U Bomsi and Me” but could not make her presence felt.

Vidya is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan. She has done the “Santro” ad with him and since then, idolizes him. She has now got a golden opportunity to work with the King Khan again in a forthcoming flick “Chak De India” by Shimin Amin ( of “Ab Tak Chhappan” fame). It is a story of a hockey coach (played by Shahrukh) and a Sikh girl (played by Malvade) whose wishes to play the game are trampled by her conservative parents.

After spending a few months in Australia for the film’s shooting, Vidya has already become a complete Shahrukh fan. She admits that he is a perfectionist in every sense of the term. From camera angles to make up, he is involved in every aspect of his films. No wonder then, Shahrukh is a superstar of his time and one of the most loved person in the film fraternity.

Vidya will soon be seen in two other films, namely “Benaam” and “Take Two”. Both the films are yet to be released and Vidya is looking forward to how the audience responds to her role and acting in the film.

For the time being, Vidya loves to live life to the fullest and work hard. For her, if her film works, that’s the beginning and end of it all. Now that’s called dedication!

Whether Salman would've come on knowing of Shah Rukh being invited, is irrelevant. Salman was not invited. He may openly express his fondness for Abhishek. But it's not that easy for anyone to forget his past behaviour with Aishwarya. The Bachchans personally invited all their guests. Aishwarya...

Another Try for a Windows Phone, but It’s Still Clunky

If you’ve never heard of a Windows Mobile phone, or never particularly cared what kind of software runs on your phone, prepare yourself. In the coming months, Microsoft will release a steady drumbeat of ads intended to make you want a device powered by its software. Related Should you care? Probably. Should you make a Windows phone your priority? Not necessarily. If you already have a phone that runs Windows Mobile and want to upgrade, the new 6.5 version will improve your life slightly. Otherwise, other mobile phones are probably a better bet. Windows phones have been around for years, mostly competing with BlackBerrys for the allegiance of business users. But while BlackBerry crossed over into the consumer realm with more user-friendly phones, Windows Mobile remained in its corporate cube, because of devices that could be so frustrating to use that few people would choose one without a corporate mandate. For much of the last year, Microsoft has been saying that its ...
