Debutant director Punit Malhotra, nephew of designer Manish Malhotra, had previously assisted Karan Johar in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.Manish Malhotra will be designing costumes.Sonam is currently filming for her father's home production, Ayesha directed by Rajshri Ojha with co-stars Abhay Deol, Arunoday Singh and Cyrus Sahukar.Imran Khan is awaiting release of his action thriller, Blue, on July 24.
