SRK - Salman Khan to clash?

If all goes well, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will come face to face on July 3. The clash is purely professional, what with their respective films - SRK's DULHA MIL GAYA and Salman's WANTED - hitting the screens on that Friday.DULHA MIL GAYA producer Viveck Vaswani is eyeing 3rd July because "July 4 is Independence Day in America and Shah Rukh enjoys a massive following there. I would like to capitalize on the Independence Day weekend, " Viveck tells me.Which means DULHA MIL GAYA will clash with Salman Khan's WANTED. "If Boney Kapoor says he's committed for 3rd July and requests me to shift my film to another week, I will do so. But so far there haven't been any talks, " Viveck clarifies.DULHA MIL GAYA is far from complete. Reportedly, SRK's portions remain to be filmed."The talkie is complete. Just one qawwali remains to be shot, which can be included at the last minute too, " Viveck reveals. He also rubbishes rumours that SRK has delayed the film."Shah Rukh had informed me at the very outset of his busy schedule and the possibility of the film getting delayed. The delay is not because of him, it's because of me. An important schedule went haywire when my father passed away. Later, Shah Rukh suffered an injury on my sets, hence things have been pushed forward."Meanwhile, DULHA MIL GAYA continues to remain in news. The latest is, Anil Ambani's Big Pictures has relinquished the rights of the project. True?"Yes, they have. The withdrawal was due to re- strategizing the company, given the current economic scenario. But I'll offer them the film once it's ready. If they want to pick up the rights then, it's okay. Else, the money invested by Big will be refunded at the time of release, " he states. .

Salman khan Also stands isolated as SRK-Bachchans cosy up

By Summaiyah Wahab Khan Shah Rukh Khan's presence at the Drona premiere should surprise no one. Ever since the open squabble with Salman Khan both the Khans have been drawing themselves closer to the Bachchans, trying hard to show their solidarity to the Bachchan family in every way possible."And there was no way Shah Rukh was not going to be invited to the Drona premiere. Whether Salman would've come on knowing of Shah Rukh being invited, is irrelevant. Salman was not invited. He may openly express his fondness for Abhishek. But it's not that easy for anyone to forget his past behaviour with Aishwarya. Also he isn't exactly a chum of Drona's heroine Priyanka Chopra either, " says a source close to the Bachchans. In fact everyone from the gregarious Karan Johar to the ultra-reclusive Sanjay Leela Bhansali to the hardly-ever-seen Sushmita Sen showed up for this, the most crucial release. And why not? The Bachchans personally invited all their guests. Aishwarya...

Another Try for a Windows Phone, but It’s Still Clunky

If you’ve never heard of a Windows Mobile phone, or never particularly cared what kind of software runs on your phone, prepare yourself. In the coming months, Microsoft will release a steady drumbeat of ads intended to make you want a device powered by its software. Related Should you care? Probably. Should you make a Windows phone your priority? Not necessarily. If you already have a phone that runs Windows Mobile and want to upgrade, the new 6.5 version will improve your life slightly. Otherwise, other mobile phones are probably a better bet. Windows phones have been around for years, mostly competing with BlackBerrys for the allegiance of business users. But while BlackBerry crossed over into the consumer realm with more user-friendly phones, Windows Mobile remained in its corporate cube, because of devices that could be so frustrating to use that few people would choose one without a corporate mandate. For much of the last year, Microsoft has been saying that its ...
