Shamita Shetty always admired her famous sister Shilpa and wanted to follow in her footsteps. She got a break in a big budget Bollywood film ‘Mohabbatein’. Her co-star in the movie was Uday Chopra whom she later dated for a short period of time. The movie was produced by one of the greatest Indian producers, Yash Chopra. The film was based on the love stories of six youths who find their guide in the form of Shah Rukh Khan. The film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, who played a sort of non-believer of love.
