Deepika is a model turned actress or rather hit actress started by starring in the music video for the song Naam Hai Tera from the independent pop album Aap Kaa Surroor by Himesh Reshammiya.
She later after, doing kannada film, made a successful Bollywood debut in 2007 with Farah Khan's international hit Om Shanti Om opposite Shahrukh Khan.then the story goes on with Bachna ae haseeno(2008), Billu, Chandani chowk to china (2009). NOw Love aaj kal opposite Saif ali khan.
Deepika became much popular in bollywood when doing OM SHANTI OM with Shahrukh Khan. Her two roles were loved by all and gave her much appreciation from her huge number of increasing fans.
